Meet Dr. Blair Smith, DDS

Blair Smith, Prosthodontist, is a native of Fayetteville, NC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina. After his undergraduate studies, Blair obtained an associate’s degree in Dental Technology and worked as a certified lab technician at Herring’s Dental Laboratory and Village Family Dental. Inspired to pursue a career in dentistry, Blair attended Fayetteville State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He then went on to West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Following dental school, Blair worked as a general dentist at Village Family Dental for one year before entering a three-year Prosthodontics residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. During his residency, he received training in advanced prosthodontics, dental digital design and fabrication, prosthetic reconstruction, and dental implants, culminating in a specialty certificate in prosthodontics.

Dr. Smith is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontics, the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, and the North Carolina Dental Society. He resides in Fayetteville with his wife, Laura Anne, and their dog, Molly. In his free time, Blair enjoys hunting, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
